100 YEARS OF HOSPITALITY AFTERNOON TEA

This year, Hilton celebrates its 100th year anniversary. Our distinguished chefs have created a special afternoon tea, taking you on a walk down memory lane. This menu showcases signature creations from various Hilton properties worldwide in the last 100 years.

A little known fact about Hilton is that we have popularised many established desserts, from the decadent Walnut Brownie at Palmer House Hilton in 1893 to the silky Cream Cheese Red Velvet Cake in Waldorf Astoria New York in 1950 and many more! Our Afternoon Tea Tier will comprise these renowned creations, including our hotel’s signature Gin & Tonic, with its flavours packed into our Gin & Tonic Panna Cotta. It even features the ultimate tropical drink, the Piña Colada, invented by Ramón Marrero, bartender at the Caribe Hilton San Juan in the 1950s.

On weekends, indulge in a 4-course afternoon tea, which features The Eggs Benedict, alongside our tiered stand. The idea of staple brunch item was hatched in the kitchen of the Waldorf Astoria, leaving a legacy of being a dish that has been the salvation of the hungry, the tired and the hungover ever since. We’ve put our own twist on this classic, replacing the bacon with an Asian crab salad.
